Q. How do I find a journal or journal article ?
To check if a specific journal title is available through the HSE library subscriptions use the 'Journal Finder' tool on the front page of the library website.
Type in the name of the journal you want to check and hit search.
If the journal is available via one of the library resources it will appear in results with a link to access the full text (example below showing The Journal of advanced nursing). The date range the journal is available from is also displayed.
Click on 'full text access' to go to the title. If you have logged in with your Athens credentials the full text should be available within the date range listed.
If you have the title of an article & want to search if is is available, use the 'search the E-Library' button on the from page of the library website. Again If you are not on a HSE site you will need to login using your Athens account. If the article is available in full text via a subscribed journal in one of the HSE library collections it will be accessible.
If the article is not available in full text, an article request form will appear which can be used to request a full text copy.
If you cannot access the article, email firstname.lastname@example.org with the details.
